Why Ginkgo Goddess?

‘Ginkgo’ simply because it is my favorite tree. I used to be a HUGE tree nerd and am absolutely obsessed with ancient trees. The ginkgo is one that can live for thousands of years, and is believed to be a symbol of healing, resilience and longevity. The fan shaped leaf, with its smooth texture and vertical veins is believed to represent balance and duality. There is so much beautiful history and symbols to accompany it, that I don’t think I could have picked a better tree to represent my ‘why’.

‘Goddess’ acts as a reminder to myself to not only create from a place of self- love but to exude that onto others as well. I spent years in deep war with myself/ my body and spent many years unlearning those thoughts and replacing them with love. Something that will always be a daily practice. A reminder to me but also to YOU that YOU are a goddess, your body is beautiful and deserves love always.

I hope this meaning can also be a reminder to you when you use my pieces that they come from a place of love, trust and healing.
